Every second Thursday of each month, thousands flock to what is usually a drab section of downtown Los Angeles, until it is transformed into an eclectic outdoor festival, replete with a motley hodgepodge of art, music, food and people. Duisburg was once Europe’s biggest inland port. Now part of its waterfront has become an attractive marina for leisure craft with an amphitheatre and lively bars and restaurants.

The Innerhafen area is just a short stroll from the city centre where the broad Kongisstrasse is lined with shops. Overlooking it is the white Opera House, home of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.

Nigerian Indigenous Religions are Pantheistic
Nigerian indigenous religions are usually pantheistic. There is a supreme god who runs the affairs through deities. Rituals and ceremonies in honor of deities are undertaken with great care, as they bring peace security and prosperity to people.
Before the arrival of Europeans, Nigerians taught their children informally about their culture, work, survival skills, and social activities etc. In Islamic communities, students studied the Quran and read other religious texts written in Arabic. Read more…
